Surrounded by vineyards, the new building is 450 meters above sea level and faces southwest. The building has a stone-like exterior that adds a unique and timeless charm. The green roof helps it blend perfectly into nature.

Furniture and finishes give the house a comfortable atmosphere, from the slatted pergola in the yard to furniture in the kitchen, living area and bedroom, as well as undulating shelves in the wine cellar, Barth used chestnut wood in combination with materials like leather and stone to create these modern, elegant custom interiors.

The many measures taken to ensure the sustainability of the building were crucial, making it the winner of the 18th CasaClima Prize in 2019. The design studio used the special properties of local materials to achieve a modern practice with a discreet and enduring atmosphere.
