“Material Interiors” was an exhibition taking place during New York Design Month in David Chipperfield Architects’ landmark building – The Bryant, which launched the inaugural Radnor Made collection and introduces new works by Radnor represented designers.

The exhibition was co-curated by design studio Workstead, selected by Radnor for their renowned ability to work contextually, balancing the functional and the iconic to express a materiality that is grounded in place. For this site-specific installation, Radnor and Workstead collaborated to create a fully functional interior that responds to the existing details of The Bryant, most notably the distinctive herringbone oak floors, honed terrazzo borders and wall cladding.

“Material Interiors” launched a collection of exclusive Radnor Made textiles and furniture designed in collaboration with Bunn Studio and Adam Rogers, and also introduced the work of Julianne Ahn, Marie Eklund, Oyyo and Workstead, and present pieces by Loic Bard, Egg Collective, Pat Kim, PELLE, and Farrah Sit. Bringing together a selection of works that conjoin design and craftsmanship, the exhibition was defined by the use of natural materials and intuitive forms. The result was a space filled with depth and texture that was at once highly refined and profoundly livable.
