Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa’s restaurant “Tapisco” mixes Portuguese and Spanish snacks for sharing – tapas meets petiscos.
The project revisits the interior atmosphere of Portuguese snack bars from the 1960’s and 70’s, with rows of tables along a leather banquette and circular tables in the center.
In the entrance area there is a vermouth bar and a stone counter with fixed stools where to enjoy a meal facing the open kitchen.
The design scheme includes terrazzo floors, burgundy ceramic wall tiles, stone counters and wall paneling, and natural brass features on furniture and lighting.
