Uniwalk Center is a five-story retail addition to a multi-tower mixed-use development in Shenzhen. The innovative design uses abundant natural light through an expansive, mall-long skylight, high-tech finishes, and dynamic circulation patterns to create an exciting new retail experience. Seven towers rise above the large retail podium, housing office, SoHo, and residential spaces. The key design motif derives from water in motion. This theme drives every aspect of the design from the bulkhead section to the skylight design. The space is dynamic and fluid, creating great interaction between people and architecture, and the circulation of human activity has been well planned through the dynamic interior space. With the integrity of a consistent design language throughout the project, Uniwalk Center is both a retail destination and a dramatic exhibition venue.
