Residence Malcesine stands surrounded by olive trees and with a magnificent view of Lake Garda at Malcesine, a beautiful lakeside setting with a rich natural environment and history. The complex is intended to offer holidays with the freedom to enjoy the natural surroundings, sports and local food and wines, with apartments with exclusive services, located in large grounds for full benefit from the Lake’s mild, temperate climate.
The Residence’s design, by Studio Campetti with assistance from the Ragno Project Department, combines contemporary architectural features with elements from the local tradition and fits attractively into its context.
The Residence is clad with a ventilated wall 500 m2 in area, constructed using Ragno Realstone Jerusalem Avorio porcelain stoneware slabs, Structured finish in the 60×120 size.
Realstone Jerusalem is a technical porcelain stoneware which evokes stone, with highly varied patterning and colours and a soft surface, produced in various sizes which can be configured as required.
The collection has also obtained the important Greenguard certification, which guarantees that a product complies with some of the toughest, most exhaustive international standards regarding low emissions of volatile organic compounds in indoor environments.
The ventilated wall slabs were mounted with the distinctive AGS concealed anchoring system, which enables optimal execution of every architectural detail, including even the corners and jambs of doors and windows, ensuring the wall’s continuity and uniformity and minimising technical constraints.
Each slab has tapered holes on the back, into which special expansion anchor bolts are inserted to secure the clamps. The tile is then attached to the supporting substructure, which consists of vertical uprights with wall brackets and cross members riveted to the uprights. The AGS concealed anchoring system thus ensures the aesthetic elegance of the external surface.
Buildings fitted, like this one, with porcelain stoneware ventilated walls enjoy multiple benefits, including excellent energy performance, soundproofing, comfort and a strong, protected structure, as well as an outer “skin” with distinctive technical characteristics such as outstanding mechanical strength, resistance to thermal shocks, water and fire, colours resistant to sunlight, chemicals and smog, low maintenance, light weight and durability, with a wide range of sizes, textures and finishes.
