四和是一家位于北京双井的威士忌酒吧。它的名字来自太阳在四个方向上到达极限的概念。在古代中国的书籍《周髀算经》中，它被描述为太阳到达其极北、南、东、西四个点的地方。这是天地相融、四季交汇、风雨相会、阴阳和谐的地方。这就是为什么它被称为“四和”的原因。

SIHE is a whiskey bar located in Shuangjing, Beijing. Its name comes from the concept of the sun reaching its limit in four directions. In the ancient Chinese book “Zhou Bi Suan Jing”, it is described as the place where the sun reaches its extreme north, south, east, and west points. This is a place where heaven and earth blend together, where four seasons meet, wind and rain meet, and yin and yang are harmonious. That’s why it’s called “SIHE”.

“四和”选址于临街店铺，项目占地面积约为87平米，原始空间是小区底层的沿街空间，作为社区性出发的空间，保持私密感的同时又能让空间持续充满活力成为设计思路的重点。

“SIHE” is located in the street-facing store in the third district of Shuanghuayuan Nanli, Huili Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing. The project covers an area of about 87 square meters. The original space is the street space on the ground floor of the community. As a community-based space, it maintains a sense of privacy while maintaining Making the space continuously full of vitality has become the focus of design thinking.

铁板、水泥、木梁、不锈钢、石块，这些来自自然界最原始的材料，勾勒出了四和Whisky&Cocktail bar独特的设计风格，彰显了人们对于文化的传承与延续。如何在小尺度单元内构建出理想化的商业空间，关注“内外”和“新旧”，通过对“个体”与“群体”的互动性讨论公共在商业空间中的营造。

Iron plates, cement, wooden beams, stainless steel, and stones, these are the most primitive materials from nature, which outline the unique design style of SIHE Whiskey&Cocktail bar, and demonstrate the inheritance and continuation of people’s culture. How to construct an idealized commercial space in a small-scale unit, focusing on “inside and outside” and “old and new”, and discussing the creation of public in commercial space through the interaction of “individual” and “group”.

传统空间背后更多的是反映一种日常性和使用关怀，清晰的内在结构，从个体自由和集体秩序出发，折射出多层次的公共活动空间。将四和视为一种通往创造空间与城市的途径，从而维系良好的社会关系。

Behind the traditional space is more to reflect a kind of daily life and use care, a clear internal structure, starting from individual freedom and collective order, reflecting a multi-level public activity space. See SIHE as a way to create space and city, so as to maintain good social relationship.

商业空间应不停地和当下的市民生活发生着极强的互动。为了保证四和内部的私密性，在空间设计上让门头尽量封闭，在内部空间又可以让视觉上连通、靠近、可及。

The commercial space should constantly have a strong interaction with the current public life. In order to ensure the privacy of the interior of SIHE, the door is closed as much as possible in the space design, and the interior space can be visually connected, approached, and accessible.

该酒吧的主打产品是“梅兰竹菊”鸡尾酒，它将传统西方调酒法与东方食材相结合。为了进一步强调这种文化融合，酒吧的设计融合了传统中国建筑元素，如木梁和柱子。然而，这些元素不仅仅是传统中国建筑的复制品，而是采用了现代主义的方法进行重新解构，采用单面剖面设计。

The bar’s main product is the “plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum” cocktail, which combines traditional western bartending methods with oriental ingredients. To further emphasize this cultural fusion, the design of the bar incorporates traditional Chinese architectural elements such as wooden beams and columns. However, these elements are not mere replicas of traditional Chinese architecture, but have been reinterpreted with a modernist approach, using a single-sided section design.

The design incorporates elements of contemporary futurism, which is a fusion of traditional and modern design. This creates a harmony and balance between the past and the future, just as the bar’s name “SIHE” represents the harmony and balance of the four directions. The design of SIHE is not just to create a space for displaying products; it is more to create a complete sensory experience that combines the best of Eastern and Western cultures.
