Korean Dinner Party is a new Soho spot bringing a taste of LA‘s buzzy Koreatown to the top floor of Kingly Court. At KDP guests will duck under the glowing neon signage and settle in for an evening of family-style hospitality, East-meets-West dishes, kitsch cocktails and craft beers with an eclectic record collection of Korean hip hop playing into the night. Korean Dinner Party interior design, curated by A-nrd studio pays homage to metropolitan Korean restaurants found in the heart of Seul and LA‘s Koreatown.

The venue shell has been completely stripped back exposing the unfinished plaster ceiling, crossing metal beams and wooden trusses. Concrete walls painted in steel blue colour are not afraid of showing signs of the past, from nails dents to tile adhesive, bringing an urban charm to the venue. This is reinforced by a 4m long ceiling neon feature installed above the central bench, a communal seating that invites guests to socialise and have a good time.

Tasselled lighting, decorative hand-printed fabric dividers and patterned fabrics reference Korean traditional iconography with a contemporary twist. Sitting above the cushioned fuchsia booth seating, a tryptic artwork by Kwang Kwang mixes Korean heritage with a young – metropolitan vibe, capturing the essence of Korean dinner party.
