食物有着丰富的颜色和独特的纹理——味道和气味。
成长于温州的TIN,从小看着外婆如何处理食材——晒柿饼、生姜、腌制咸鱼和腊肉,同时也跟着外婆学习如何编织和结绳。她珍视这种独特的童年记忆,并通过创新,形成她的个人语言。

Since childhood, a fascination for food and textiles has interwoven and led her to pursue knit as both an art form and a way of enhancing the body. Growing up in Wenzhou, Tin spent time with her grandmother who passed on her love and knowledge of colour. After tied and sun-dried peppers and persimmons together, she also learned how to knit.
The combination of knotting and knitting, with the colours, textures and rich smells of food has stayed with her to this day, influencing her creative experiments.

Tin Gao 生于浙江温州,毕业于伦敦时装学院纺织系。她受到多元文化背景和当代艺术的启发,利用食物和工艺作为一种艺术形式和工具,创造出独特的视觉和美学。与世界交流,表达艺术作品的精神和情感。

About TIN GAO
Tin Gao born in Wenzhou Zhejiang, studied knit design at the London College of Fashion. She is inspired by multicultural background and contemporary art surroundings. Using food and craft both as an art form and tools, creating a unique vision and aesthetics, Tin communicates with the world, expressing the spirit and emotions from artworks.
