HED completed the Donald J. Leavenworth Library for Chadwick School in Palos Verdes, California.
Chadwick School sits on a commanding site on the hilltops of Palos Verdes in Southern California. With a beautiful, leafy campus and a pleasing array of domestically scaled academic buildings, the campus has been undergoing a series of renovations and expansions to support 21st century learning.
HED refreshed and renewed the interiors of Chadwick School’s Donald J. Leavenworth Library. The upper and middle school library is a 7,600 square foot space comprising study areas, library stacks, a conference room and adjacent outdoor patio. HED provided interior design services with a primary focus on re-planning existing spaces and selecting furniture that would dramatically transform the character and use of these interconnected spaces.
