ALTENWERDER | HAMBURG HARBOUR
Industrial areas such as ports or railways show the other side of human action in a special way. It actually creates hostile landscapes around us. We do not question this and often ignore it. I am always drawn to the port of Hamburg because I am fascinated by this megalomania, whose driving force is the urge for steady growth.
The photos and various arrangements shown here show my indecision between an authentic color temperature and an illusion of it. In truth, one is bathed there in a poisonous yellow-orange light. Pictures 2 and 5 show the actual light in a slightly attenuated form.
