BSA LifeStructures completed the Sports Medicine Center at Village West in Kansas City, Kansas
Children’s Mercy and Sporting Kansas City partnered to promote health and fitness and to provide specialized sports medicine to young athletes in the Kansas City region. This new clinic not only benefits the community by offering injury prevention training and therapy but also allowing professional and young athletes to inspire and motivate each other.
The design team created an open plan, and modern design with a concept focused around one central theme: ‘Continuous Movement.’ The design supports cutting-edge technology and equipment including a human performance lab, two hydrotherapy pools, an open turf area for training and a full range of cardio equipment.
