We were the Lead consultant and architect for the phased refurbishment while in operation of Majid Al Futtaim’s flagship hotel asset, the 5* Kempinski Hotel at the Mall of the Emirates, keeping the hotel at the forefront of Dubai’s hotel market and increasing the asset value while enhancing the guest experience.
The project included façade renovations, legacy works including FLS, the refurbishment of 373 rooms & suites including the famous Ski Chalets and Pool Cabanas, upgrade of the executive lounge, meeting rooms, public restrooms as well as the Olea restaurant and Noir bar.
The hotel remained in operation throughout the project and the first phase of the refurbishment was unveiled in December 2015 with the final completion in March 2016.
