Portes Lithos Luxury Resort lies at Potidea, Chalkidiki. TAKA + PARTNERS delivered: the implementation study and the interior design of 130 rooms & suites and the central lobby-bar-breakfast hall unit and reception building. The goal was to develop a high-end resort, that lays emphasis on privacy of spaces and sea-view. Furthermore, most attention was paid to the revitalization of the traditional building skin. The typologies of the rooms are grouped into the following six categories: advanced suites, junior suites, lofts, superior double rooms, standard double rooms and rooms for individuals with decreased mobility. The aim was to design bright rooms with great openings towards the sea-view. The central building includes the reception lobby and a bar. Curvilinear lines on the ground and furniture fitting-out create a formal yet calm interior. Last but not least a layer of plants adds to the calmness of the space.
