Double Bloom is a mechanical work of art made up of two kinetic blooms with exquisite designs in straightforward geometric patterns. Connected by central motors and facing different directions, these flowers mimic nature’s movement providing a poetic visual scenario.

Bloom slowly opens and closes - unfurling like a flower on a preprogrammed timer - its outer carapace is formed following the function of moving the petals, black metal, and carbon fiber - a commentary on production, the machine age. Internally mirrored surfaces create myriad reflections, internalized reflections that allude to the infinite.

Internally mirrored surfaces create myriad reflections, internalized reflections that allude to the infinite. As the bloom unfurls the panels are inverted, suddenly no longer reflecting internally but reflecting the surrounding environment, the petals assuming the identity of their surroundings, becoming one. Set within a planted environment, the piece adopts that identity by reflecting as such.
内部镜面产生无数反射，内部化的反射暗示着无限。
随着花朵的绽放，面板被倒置，突然不再是内部反射，而是反射周围的环境，花瓣承担了周围环境的身份，成为一体。
