The children's footwear store has been refurbished while retaining the basic equipment of product storage, but emphasizing the choice of colors, materials and design of child seats. The child seats were designed based on small animal figures. The colors chosen are pink, white and blue and combined with the hidden lighting in the furnishings gave a fresh air and childish character.
This project has won the competition Good Design Greece 2018 and has participated in Good Design Greece exhbition 2018, in the environmental design category, at the National Museum of Contemporary Art and Contemporary Space Athens under the auspices of the Good Design Award, The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
The GOOD DESIGN AWARDS are considered as the world's oldest design award. They were founded in 1950 and for many years they were part of the program of the Museum of Modern Art of America (MoMA). The founder of the awards was Edgar Kaufmann, Jr., along with designing pioneers such as Charles and Ray Eames, Russell Wright, George Nelson, and Eero Saarinen. GOOD DESIGN AWARDS commemorate world-class design innovation every year in industries such as industrial design, publishing, furniture design, electronics, architecture and many other categories. The goal is the holistic promotion of excellence in design as opposed to the personalized and ranked awarding of relevant titles.
