Pantaleo, un salotto dal design elegante tra sacro e profano.

Situato nel cuore rinascimentale di Roma, tra Piazza Navona e Corso Vittorio, Pantaleo, il nuovo ristorante firmato da BICUADRO, riunisce in sé il sacro, con l’effige di S. Pantaleone opera di Leonardo Spina e il profano, con la sua capacità di imporsi come luogo della socialità romana.

Pantaleo propone un format di ristorazione tutto nuovo che è stata pensato cercando di dare risalto ad alcuni concetti semplici e forti allo stesso tempo quali la condivisione, il lusso, il buon bere e la buona cucina, che si esplicitano nel grande elemento centrale che unisce le varie anime del locale in un unico cuore. Un grande tavolo sociale in ferro e cemento, sovrastato da un lampadario rosso, interamente realizzato artigianalmente, che ne copre l'intera lunghezza, contrasta con il velluto delle poltrone creando una tipologia di locale mai vista prima: un luogo che è al tempo stesso "tartare restaurant" e "bar mixology".

I toni che dominano l’ambiente sono una declinazione moderna del prezioso rosso porpora, da sempre usato per indicare i luoghi dedicati a personaggi di lignaggio, usato su materiali morbidi e caldi come il velluto in contrasto con il cemento e il ferro, materiali freddi e decisamente più ruvidi, degli arredi.

Le vetrine, il bancone bar, l’area show-cooking, le pareti del piano rialzato e la "cantina" sono impreziositi da una regolare scansione verticale di listelli di ottone, che rimarcano il non convenzionale concetto di lusso presente in tutto il locale.

Il piano di sotto è pensato come un’intima cantina per la degustazione dei vini: le volte originarie dei soffitti e le luci soffuse contribuiscono a rendere l’atmosfera moderna e antica allo stesso tempo. un tavolo degustazione rotondo realizzato in ferro brunito, unico nel suo genere, ne è l'elemento caratterizzante.

Un nuovo cuore di design che porta il nome di un santo, ma che santifica il buon bere e il buon cibo, batte dunque al centro di Roma.

Pantaleone by Leonardo Spina and the profane, with his ability to establish itself as a place of Roman sociality.

Pantaleo proposes a completely new catering format that has been designed trying to emphasize some simple and strong concepts such as sharing, luxury, good drinking and good food, which are expressed in the great central element that unites various souls of the restaurant in one heart. A large social table in iron and concrete, topped by a red chandelier, entirely handcrafted, which covers the entire length, contrasts with the velvet of the armchairs, creating a type of place never seen before: a place that is at the same time " tartare restaurant "and" bar mixology ".

The tones that dominate the environment are a modern declination of the precious purple red, which has always been used to indicate places dedicated to characters of lineage, used on soft and warm materials such as velvet in contrast with concrete and iron, cold and decidedly rougher than the furnishings.

The windows, the bar counter, the show-cooking area, the walls of the mezzanine floor and the "cellar" are embellished with a regular vertical scan of brass strips, which underline the unconventional concept of luxury present throughout the room.

The downstairs is designed as an intimate cellar for wine tasting: the original vaults of the ceilings and the soft lighting help to make the atmosphere modern and ancient at the same time. a round tasting table made of burnished iron, unique of its kind, is the characterizing element.

A new heart of design that bears the name of a saint, but which sanctifies good drinking and good food, therefore beats in the center of Rome.
