两位德国设计师Nicole Goymann与Christoph John利用丝绸打造出美丽华贵的丝绸鞋。鞋子的系列取名为“嫘祖”，嫘祖是我国传说中皇帝的元妃，她发明了养蚕，史称“嫘祖始蚕”。
丝，来源自然，一出生就耀眼一方。这个设计，没有使用编织成布的丝绸，而是最大限度呈现丝的本真。
Nicole Goymann有几年中国和欧洲的服装行业经验，她目前正在探索中国纺织传统工艺的传承。
坚硬的蚕茧经过沸水软化，获得一根纤细的蚕丝。将这根蚕丝按照固定的走向缠绕，可以设计出不同的款式。丝线的天然粘性和遇到空气快速硬化的特点可确保不会变形。鞋子的系列取名为“嫘祖”，“嫘祖”指中国的神话人物—黄帝的元妃，传说是她发明了养蚕。
嫘祖丝绸鞋运用了缫丝工艺，是Christophs “Shine”系列丝绸桌子和器具的延续。设计师认为原丝具有独特的美学价值，最终的作品深刻地展示了丝绸的华丽。
The name “Léi Zǔ” refers to the Chinese legendary empress, who invented the silk reel.
The “Léi Zǔ” shoes are the applied suggestion to the craft of silk reeling. It is the continuation to Christophs “Shine” Silk table ware objects. We think the aesthetic of raw silk is unique and that shoes are a rather impressive way to show off the luxury appearance of silk.

Designer description
Nicole Goymann is a German designer with a master degree in dressmaking, pattern construction and apparel design. After several years of experience in the European and Chinese apparel industry, she is now exploring the Chinese crafts heritage in the textile field.
Christoph John is an industrial product, furniture and car designer from Germany. Before joining the PINWU team in 2010 he worked in Finland and Italy in several studios such as Bonetto Design and Changed Design. His work experience has molded him into a designer with an eye for functionality, authenticity and sustainability.
