House of Form mixed the natural beauty of wood, and the rawness of the industrial space to give Kahvi Coffee a welcoming and inviting feel with thoughtful unique art and tile work.
Inspired by Scandinavian simplicity and the laid-back comfort of Tulum, Kahvi Coffee was born to bring world-class coffee to the heart of Downtown Phoenix. Nestled in one of Phoenix’s oldest warehouse buildings, Kahvi Coffee is a coffee bar and workspace by day and a cocktail bar that serves the adjacent wedding venue by night. With patterned tile on the bar front and woven pendants above the coffee bar, the space invites eclectic design while being balanced with the wood and concrete elements. Hanging plants shape the bar while succulents are sprinkled around the space providing a more relaxed and earthy environment. In the morning, the coffee shop is busy with local patrons enjoying a cup of coffee or a work meeting. But at night, the bar is the focal point with lower lighting and Tulum-esque music. With existing industrial design,
House of Form wanted the space to feel more open, inviting, and bright. The front of the coffee bar has a beautiful millwork detail that not only displays the name of the space, but also sets the tone as guests walk in. The space is so versatile – Kahvi Coffee is a fantastic location to take out of towners, locals exploring their city, host an event, and work remotely.
