Palazzo Margheritahotel is located in Bernalda, a small town in southern Italy. This is a real 19th-century palazzo, built in 1892 by the Margarita family. The hotel was recently completely renovated by renowned director Francis Ford Coppola and famous French designer Jacques Grange. With special attention to detail and historical elements, they have created a luxurious Italian-style design. All original marble floors in the palace have been fully restored and the ceilings are hand-painted with frescoes. Francis wanted Palazzo Margherita to be a place that his children and grandchildren would like to visit again and again, and therefore invited the whole family to contribute to the design. One of the North African-style suites is dedicated to Francis’s grandmother, who was originally from Tunisia. The special pride of the hotel is a cozy courtyard and a swimming pool in a secluded garden, reminiscent of an oasis!See also:Magnificent hotel La Sirenuse in Positano
