Playing with the point, line, plane, and volume, demonstrating contrast of polished and rough materials, design studio SHARK&SHARK offers a clean and modern showroom solution to men’s bespoke brand Vivamens.
In a grand office lobby, SI materials are played in geometric forms to define the space of the showroom. Copper tubes create lines and curves in all directions, functioning as suit and fabric hangers, as well as skeleton of space-dividing screens. The structure is effortlessly self-supporting.
The looks of felt and cement board are very similar, although they have totally different texture and hardness. Visually the showroom contains only two materials, which makes the design somehow minimal.
