雅典Cycladic艺术博物馆，位于希腊雅典市区主干道一栋非常漂亮的古典主义建筑里，里面收藏了许多著名艺术家的经典之作，并且，近期这里经过重新装修，增建的Cycladic商店和咖啡馆，给市中心的这个艺术圣地带来了一种简约明快的感觉，同时又为人们带来了来自Cycladic岛的地方美味。

负责此次重装任务的，是多次获奖的Kois Associated Architects设计公司，他们受传统Cycladic艺术所具有的那种简约、全面的特点所启发，然后熟练的将这些与建筑古朴经典的特色相融合。商店里正对着门口的地方，摆放着一个用泥土、核桃木、玻璃和镜子做成的艺术作品，寓意是欢迎来自四面八方的客人。

Housed in one of the most beautiful neoclassical buildings on one of the main boulevards in downtown Athens, Greece, the Museum of Cycladic Art houses the largest collection of these evocative figures in the world; and it’s recently redesigned, Cycladic Shop and Café, brings the minimal spirit of the feel, light and tastes of the Cyclades Islands to the very heart of the city.

The award winning firm in charge of the remodel, Kois Associated Architects, was inspired by the simple and thoughtful elements of traditional Cycladic art and expertly melded them with the building’s classical character. The Shop space, a stunning amalgam of earthy walnut wood, glass and mirror, opens up to welcome visitors in stages, organically and on two levels.
