Cheesman Architects created the warm and engaging healthcare space for patients at Adelaide Cosmetic Dentistry in Unley, Australia.
The client wanted to create a warm, welcoming yet stylish space for her patients with a hint of Parisian vibe. Being a clinical space it has its challenges.
The reception and waiting area has high ceilings with illuminated coffers and herringbone vinyl flooring. The artwork and furniture injects colour, fun and texture in an otherwise neutral and soft palette.
The corridor is dotted with crystal wall lights echoed on the frosted windows to the treatment rooms.
Timber laminate & stone joinery lines the offices and treatment rooms creating a comforting place for dental procedures.
This project had a short delivery time frame with a high level of client collaboration. The project was undertaken during the first period of COVID. We had challenges to source light fittings and materials. We worked daily with the client to maintain the design intent and got creative with sourcing materials and finishes.
