Eastbourne centres itself around a core idea, the sharing of light, space and air through literal and phenomenal transparency. From a central void all the inhabited spaces of the home are connected, entirely insular and abstracted from its context when closed but layered and integrated into the street whenopened.
DESIGN DESCRIPTION

Through a cautious approach, Eastbourne has embedded emotional cues. Eastop Architects created a unique relationship with light, volume and materials to create a unique and modern home, a home that challenges the typical and becomes a point of inspiration. The ability to open up and connect the family to reflect contemporary life is key. It was originally designed and built, with adjacent walls on both sides, unfolding into a series of dark and narrow formal spaces. Injecting a tangible sense of quality becomes the basis for the unfolding of all other elements.

ABOUT DESIGNER
Eastop Architects 是一家建筑和室内设计工作室，总部位于
澳大利亚墨尔本。于 2017 年在其个项目玫瑰街的早期阶段成立。该工作室从前卧室经营了一年多。作为一个工作室，它接受了任何可能获得的项目，目的是尽快构建一个作品集，来学习和测试想法。Liam Eastop 初几年在莫纳什大学和墨尔本大学任教，并继续担任设计指导。
