The brief provided was to design a minimal, sleek and modern house, where every corner is rich of design and aesthetic values, but at the same time minimal and elegant. Use of exclusive materials like statuario marble and variation of three veneer is used throughout with chevron patterned wooden flooring.
Home to a fond art collector, this apartment reflects the personalities of its owners. The intent of the project was to design a sleek, minimal and contemporary home where the creative energy was focussed on the artwork. The entrance, flanked by the bar unit on one side is coated with a feature paint, highlighting it against the neutral grey backdrop of the living room. Our collaboration with Anand Prabhudesai helped us highlight the family room with copper panels against a monochrome palette. The construction was celebrated through intricate joinery details and juxtaposing two contrasting materials to make the design stand out. Use of exclusive materials like statuario marble and variation of three veneers is used throughout the apartment with a chevron-patterned wooden flooring to achieve a simple yet elegant look.
