独立家具品牌素元，在2016年把新家落在北京草场地艺术东区一栋两层老库房里。

SuYuan, an independent furniture brand,moved the new home to a two-storey old warehouse in the east of Beijing Grassland Art Park in 2016.

六米宽的双分楼梯沟通上下，南向单侧采光，带来通透大空间表情的转换。新空间要满足家具展示、工坊教学以及日常办公的需求。捕捉房子原本光影的戏剧性，融合品牌宁静优雅的气质，成为设计的出发点。一层容纳了平日的工作、教学、沙龙，渗透生活的丰满。二层是展示的平台，表达精神和信仰。

The six – meter wide double stair communicates up and down, south to the unilateral lighting, bring the conversion of a wide space expression. The new space should meet the demand of furniture display, workshop teaching and daily office. Capture the drama of the original light and shadow of the house, merge brand quiet elegant temperament, become the starting point of design. A layer of work, teaching, salon, the fullness of life. The second floor is a display platform, expressing spirit and belief.

身体的每一次转折都是探险。房子内外的连接，通过耐候钢板箱体的置入完成。从视线交接到进入房子内部，经过四次转折。箱体内具有重量感的平开木门和可旋转毛毡面板木墙，使各处递进之中又带有停顿的留白。旋转木墙可切换不同的使用场景，进入、展示、沙龙。路径的多重定义让房子充满不确定的机关。

Every turn of the body is an adventure. The connection inside and outside of the house is completed through the placement of the weathering steel box. From the eye to the inside of the house, through four turns. The inside of the box has a wooden door and the wooden wall of the rotatable felt panels, making the progress of the place with a pause. Rotating wood wall can switch different usage scenes, enter, display, salon. The multiple definitions of paths make the house uncertain.

光的装置 | Optical device

二层，房内嵌套四个盒子，谨慎选择其尺度与位置，相互之间围合出新的场子。空间上，成为可以反转的图底关系。盒子包围了墙壁和屋顶的窗，成为室内自然光的源头。盒子之间光的变化，如同落入水中石子产生的波纹，相互交叠又延展减弱，一日之内，这里成为光追逐的游戏。悬浮在楼梯上的盒子包裹着一个小的上升暗道，通往盒子顶部，顶部拓成平台，成为光的观望处，那里，是房子的秘密花园。

On the second floor, four boxes are nested inside the room, carefully chosen for their scale and position, and a new field is enclosed between each other. In space, it becomes a graph bottom relationship that can be reversed. The box encircled the walls and roof Windows, becoming the source of natural light in the interior. The changes in the light between the boxes, like the ripples that fall into the water, are folded and extended, and within a day, this is the game of light pursuit. The box on the stairs is encased in a small ascending tunnel leading to the top of the box, and the top of the box is made into a platform, which becomes the view of the light, which is the secret garden of the house.

素元的新家，容纳了对素元日常的设想与期待。故事的主角，是这里来往的人群。他们和房子，共同激发着生活的潜力，那些相互作用的振荡，才是打动人的恒久微光。

The new home of SuYuan accommodates the daily assumptions and expectations. The main character of the story is the people who come and go. They and the house, together inspire the potential of life, those oscillations that interact, are the eternal glimmers that move people.
