Italian and Australian based design studio MORQ Architecture has designed Villa RE, a 280-square-metre summer retreat in Calabria, Italy, that is tucked into a hillside overlooking the sea.
建筑的外观简约而低调，粗糙豪放的建筑材料让项目更具原始的野性之美，两颗高大的绿植为住宅营造出海滨度假的氛围。
The exterior of the building is simple and low-key. The rough and unrestrained construction materials give the project a more primitive and wild beauty. Two tall plants create a seaside vacation atmosphere for the house.
MORQ 将建筑设计成开放的结构，模糊了室内外界限，与优美的自然环境融为一体。在大厅处，可以欣赏到一望无际的大海，仿佛在就像是在海洋上居住一般。站在卧室的窗前，可以欣赏到农田一样的景观，这与辽阔的海洋景观形成鲜明的对比。
MORQ designed the building as an open structure that blurs the boundary between interior and exterior and blends in with the beautiful natural environment. From the lobby, you can enjoy the ocean as far as the eye can see, as if living on the ocean. Standing in front of the bedroom window, you can enjoy the farmland-like landscape, which is in stark contrast to the vast ocean view.
