Offices, even if they are often strictly functional premises, can and must be creative. In this project, the sense of seriousness and trust needed in such premises was easily captured by the combination of loft and minimalist style. The exposed brick and unfinished concrete walls make the entourage both rigorous and modern. And to avoid turning the office into a dull space, we resorted to spicing it with classical elements. Leather furniture, materials such as marble and wood, busts and paintings inspired by classic sculptures quench the brutality of the materials on the walls.
Another factor designed to create an atmosphere worthy of an office premises is the colour. Brutality of brick and concrete is balanced by sober colours such as brown and grey, and as an accent in this regard we have introduced a strong green hue. We applied the same contrasting style to the furniture. On the one hand we have the modern desks and chairs with straight, laconic and white lines and on the other hand – rounded lines, ennobled by leather.
Being aware of the importance of lighting for to create a workspace, we have chosen it rigorously. Luminaires are easily adjustable so that the light flux can be directed to the required areas to create the visual comfort. At the same time, scenographic illumination contributes to transforming the premise from a simple office into a creative zone.
Thus, by combining the roughness and simple lines with classic accents, we have achieved a balance between sobriety and comfort, avoiding the dull stereotype of the office space.
