The east of Munich, especially Berg am Laim, is one of the liveliest districts in the Bavarian capital. With the Macherei, we have created an urban, well-connected area for this district. The people who shape our present and our future work and live here in six iconic buildings designed by three international planners. The quarter offers an open circulation for residents of Berg am Laim and the neighborhood as well as the tenants and professional users of the area. We designed the master plan and the M6 building for Macherei, the so-called incubator with around 15,000 square meters of office space. The entire incubator has been rented by Design Offices, which provides young companies, creatives and start-ups with a chic, modern and optimally designed space to develop with its iconic coworking spaces and flexible office space. In addition to office space, the Macherei provides a vide range of typologies such as hotels, restaurants, fitness areas and a supermarket. It is a small, self-sufficient cosmos in its own right, but thanks to its good public transport connections and urban development, it is also an ideal base from which to travel quickly. Our clients are Art-Invest Real Estate Management GmbH & Co KG and Accumulata Real Estate Group GmbH, who have developed the site of over 70,000 square meters from 2018 to 2022.
