In the years 2007 and 2008 the old-established traditional Swiss tourist brand Kuoni under- went a complete relaunch. Due to their rela- tively radical commitment to a highly modern brand image it was necessary to reconceive the Kuoni travel stores in the major cities of the world. The design used for these flagship stores set an international benchmark in the travel sales business.
With over 100 years of corporate tradition Ku- oni is a worldwide synonym for high-quality travelling. The Swiss travel agent with its nu- merous branch office is present throughout the whole of Europe and, as one of the largest corporations on the international travel mar- ket, has set new benchmarks with its thorough brand relaunch.
Dreimeta created a novel consulting environ- ment for Lausanne. Customers and advisors alike sit at a community table made of 17 met- re long massive oak planks to plan a journey together. The concept signals an open-minded and swift spirit. At the same time Kuoni‘s pre- mium quality is clearly displayed in the au- thentic high-grade design of the interior. The concierge desk was specially poured out of cement and a custom-made carpet with ficti- ve landscapes, both serving as emotional ele- ments.
