[ENG] - The German city of Gelsenkirchen hosts Diosmos restaurant, a restaurant of traditional Greek cuisine characterised by the fashionable style of the Inkiostro Bianco wallpapers.

A pleasant and delicate light blue colour reminds of the shades of the Aegean Sea and creates the perfect background for the graphic representations of the main ingredients of Greek cuisine such as: olive oil, garlic, roman mint, that decorate the walls.

“Regarding the wallpapers, Inkiostro Bianco provides an unprecedented range of creative innovation, which is constantly updated with new products and trendy collections” states the project Architect, Mr Christos Peistikos.

The Architect has chosen a wallpaper from the Inkiostro Bianco Collection 4 for the ceiling and a customised graphic design on the wall, specifically developed according to his indications for this project. The basic idea was to use graphic elements referred to the antiquity and to Greek Classicism, hence the choice of these decorations.

The furnishing follows a linear and comfortable style, made up by special tailor-made carpentry pieces created by Greek Companies for this project. The flooring and lighting, instead, are characterised by wood effect tiles and marble slates by Italian Companies.

The combination of all these elements confer a sober and elegant, yet cozy, tone to the rooms of the restaurant.

La città tedesca di Gelsenkirchen ospita il ristorante Diosmos, un ristorante di cucina tradizionale greca caratterizzato dallo stile trendy delle carte da parati Inkiostro Bianco.

Un gradevole e delicato colore azzurro ricorda le tinte del mar Egeo e fa da sfondo a rappresentazioni grafiche dei principali ingredienti della cucina greca come: olio, aglio, menta romana, che decorano le pareti.

“Per quanto riguarda le carte da parati, l’azienda Inkiostro Bianco offre un repertorio di creazione innovativa senza paragoni, che si aggiorna costantemente con prodotti e collezioni sempre nuove e di tendenza” così afferma l’Architetto Christos Peistikos.

L’Architetto ha scelto di utilizzare a soffitto un parato selezionato dal catalogo Inkiostro Bianco e una grafica customizzata a parete, realizzata appositamente su sue indicazioni in riferimento al progetto. L’idea di base era inserire elementi che ricordassero l’antichità e la classicità greca, da qui la scelta di questi motivi decorativi.

Negli arredi si è scelto uno stile lineare e accogliente, composto da speciali elementi di falegnameria realizzati su misura direttamente da aziende greche per i progettisti. Per la pavimentazione e l’illuminazione, invece, sono state scelte piastrelle effetto legno, lastre di marmo e pezzi speciali di aziende italiane.

La combinazione di tali elementi conferisce all’ambiente un tono sobrio ed elegante al tempo stesso, ma anche molto accogliente.
