Wabi-sabi aesthetics is a beauty of imperfectionism

它明白万物不可避免地走向衰败，所以它不与时间相争。关于侘寂，目前似乎并没有一个明确的概念。简单来说，它是一种以接受短暂和不完美为核心的日式美学。

而如今面对孙氏夫妇的住宅，设计师决定，重塑时光的温度，成为时间的背仰者，逆时间之河而上，锻造质朴。

Now facing the house of the Sun family, the designer decided to reshape the temperature of time, become a backer of time, go against the river of time, and forge simplicity.

设计师遵从侘寂美学的精髓，不追求第一眼的惊艳，而是深思熟虑后的“大繁于简”。看似简单的起居室，一张桌，一盆景，却是一种心境，创造沉静氛围的状态。这种繁华后归于平淡、“空故纳万物”的悠远意趣，正如老庄哲学中的“无”，看似“空无一物”，却以无为有，气象万千。

The designer follows the essence of wabi-sabi aesthetics, not for the first-sighted surprise, but for the "big complex but simple" after careful consideration. The seemingly simple living room, a table, and a bonsai are a state of mind, creating a calm atmosphere. This kind of long-distance interest that returns to the prosperous and "empty old" is just like the "nothing" in Lao Zhuang’s philosophy, which seems to be "empty and nothing", but it is nothing but nothing.

日本人把佛教、禅宗的自律苦行精神与中国北宋的山水画意境相结合，融入到当代景观之中，形成了其独有的“枯山水”。而设计师将枯山水的造园手法运用到了客厅之中，以有纹路的地垫代替流动的水，辅以灰白茶几代替假山，与简单的植物构成一处缩微式园林景观，业主在此休憩时，亦可欣赏到一幅安静雅致的山水画，想来也是十分惬意的。

The Japanese combined the self-discipline and asceticism of Buddhism and Zen with the artistic conception of Chinese landscape paintings of the Northern Song Dynasty and integrated them into the contemporary landscape, forming their unique "dry landscape". The designer applied the dry landscape gardening technique to the living room, replacing the flowing water with textured floor mats, and replacing the rockery with a gray tea table, forming a miniature garden landscape with simple plants. The owner is resting here. You can also enjoy a quiet and elegant landscape painting, which is very pleasant to come to.

开放式厨房和起居室，相互独立，又融会贯通，设计师将公共空间合理规划，延伸了空间视觉与层次体验。而在厨房中，除了利用深浅色融合的视觉氛围保持美感的同时，合理规划动线，对建构墙体的巧妙利用，也是设计师又一“心机”之作。

The open kitchen and the living room are independent of each other and integrated. The designer rationally planned the public space to extend the spatial vision and level experience. In the kitchen, in addition to using the visual atmosphere of the fusion of dark and light colors to maintain the beauty, the rational planning of the movement lines and the clever use of the construction wall are also another "scheming" work of the designer.

卧室是整间住宅中要最安恬舒适的一处，因此，设计师选择在简洁安静中融入了质朴的美：在一整天的忙碌后，回到家中，身处在大繁于简的房间，余晖透过玻璃窗洒落在身边，放慢脚步，领略静下来的世界，无疑是此刻最好的享受。

The bedroom is the most peaceful and comfortable place in the whole house. Therefore, the designer chooses to incorporate simple and quiet beauty into simplicity: after a busy day, when he comes home, he is in a complex but simple In the room, the afterglow is scattered around through the glass windows. Slowing down and enjoying the quiet world is undoubtedly the best enjoyment at this moment.

光的设计在衣帽间中扮演着重要的角色，嵌入式橱柜灯结合玻璃光，丰富了空间层次，给人一种视觉纵深感。看似简单，但微小细节也散发着迷人的魅力，为衣帽间的整体效果增添了一丝梦幻般的质感。

The design of light plays an important role in the cloakroom. The built-in cabinet light combined with glass light enriches the spatial hierarchy and gives people a sense of visual depth. It seems simple, but the tiny details also exude a charming charm, adding a dreamlike texture to the overall effect of the cloakroom.

卫生间是住宅中最私密的地方，设计师认为，当业主进入这里时，是极度放松的状态。而沉寂的色调与充满艺术感的花纹，平添出一种朴素、寂静、谦逊、自然的美。自然灰色的墙面与黑色扶手，也兼顾了美感与舒适性。

The bathroom is the most private place in the house. The designer believes that when the owner enters here, it is extremely relaxed. The quiet colors and artistic patterns add a simple, quiet, humble and natural beauty. The natural gray walls and black handrails also give consideration to beauty and comfort.

极简大师Jil Sander曾说过：“拿走的东西越多，留下的就越纯粹，简单而纯粹的东西，往往是人们持续热爱的”，设计师眼中的现代侘寂正是这样，简单而纯粹。家，是人世间最美好的地方，让事物回归本源，保持纯净的原始状态，即使历经了长久的时间，也仍然能从不经修饰的外表，探查到质朴的内在。这，亦是设计师选用侘寂风的初衷。

Minimalist master Jil Sander once said: “The more things you take away, the purer you leave behind. Simple and pure things are often what people continue to love.” The modern wabi-sabi in the eyes of the designer is exactly this, simple And pure. Home is the most beautiful place in the world.
