Kar room阿那亚店是kar联合在地文化位于秦皇岛的全新店铺，是一个集家具服装器物艺术一体的美学空间。

“Kar Room Aranya” is a brand new store of “kar studio” united with “Local Landscape” in Qinhuangdao, Hebei. It is an aesthetic space integrating furniture, clothing, and utensils art.

此次kar room阿那亚店首次选⽤家具的玻璃钢材料作为装饰建材， ⼴泛地⽤于外墙与店内陈列， 搭配以敦煌洞窟为灵感的圆弧形态与微水泥调色墙面， 为家具和服装提供⼀个载体。

kar studio is known by the fiberglass furniture. For the first time, in this project, the material is used as the exterior decoration, presenting an extension of the elements of furniture from the indoor to outdoor. Combining with the arc element in the space which is inspired by the traditional Dunhuang Caves, and the texture of microcement coated walls, a carrier for the furniture and clothing is performed.

家具区展示了kar的原创家具、陶瓷和艺术装饰品。 作为空间中的现代材料元素，玻璃钢家具与空间中传统的敦煌石窟氛围形成鲜明对比。外立面同样大面积使用了玻璃钢材料覆盖，由于阿那亚位于海边，海风会不断地侵蚀附近的建筑物，而考虑到玻璃纤维的优点：老化慢、防水、耐用、颜色随时间发生变化，还能与室内家具相呼应，这些无疑使其成为外墙装饰的最佳解决方案。

The furniture area exhibits kar furniture, ceramics and art decorations. As the modern material elements in the space, the fiberglass made furniture is contrasting with the traditional Dunhuang Caves atmosphere in the space. The façade is covered with fiberglass as well, since Aranya is located at seashore, the sea breeze will constantly erode the nearby buildings. In consideration of the advantages of fiberglass: slow to age, waterproof, durable, and the colour will change following the passage of time, in addition to echoing with the furniture indoor, all the above make it becoming the undoubtedly optimal solution as the exterior decorative material.

与墙面和家具一脉相承，室内吧台同样采用玻璃钢砖打造，每一块都经过师傅手工打磨,在保留玻璃钢外观特色的同时又确保了组装后的吧台利落有型。

In the same vein as the façade and furniture, the indoor bar is made of fiberglass bricks, each of which has been hand-polished by the artisans. While retaining the appearance of  fiberglass, it also ensures that the assembled bar is in a neat and stylish form.

kar room阿那亚店分为两个区域，分别是服饰区和家居区。家居区特意保留了超大的玻璃窗，并打掉所有隔断使其成为一个空旷完整同时光照饱足的空间。更多的光照射到室内的家具上，由于玻璃钢的半透明特性，有机而随意的凹凸轮廓在阳光下显得更加明显，充分展现了材质的美。

“kar room Aranya” store is divided into two areas, namely the clothing area and the furniture area. The latter retains several oversized glass windows, all the solid walls were knocked down in between to make it an open space that allow abundant sunshine to fulfill and lights on the indoor furniture. Due to the translucency of fiberglass, the organic and casual bumpy silhouette appears more obvious under the sunlight, demonstrating the beauty of the material.
