城市公园建设是个不断发展的过程，在这个过程中既有新公园的出现，也会有设施老化、景观破败的旧公园的更新。咸宁人民广场始建于2010年，总面积为13.7万平方米，咸宁城市的发展非常的迅速，人民广场的功能空间已经不能满足群众对于多样娱乐活动空间的需求，所以自2022年6月咸宁市政府开始谋划升级改造人民广场，政府组织了众多专家学者、周边居民、广场运营管理人员、规划设计单位进行多次的线上线下沟通讨论，在改造资金有限的情况下，确定了不改变原有公园框架的前提下，通过以环状休闲健身绿道为纽带，串联打造适应多层次年龄人群的多个功能活动空间。

The government organized many experts and scholars, surrounding residents, square operation managers, and planning and design units to conduct multiple online and offline communication discussions. In the case of limited renovation funds, it was determined that the original Under the premise of the park framework, through the circular leisure and fitness greenway as a link, multiple functional activity spaces suitable for people of various ages are created in series.

绿道系统设计 Greenway system design

全民健身绿道环总长2.5公里，是结合广场不同路段的现状空间，因地制宜，形成多样趣味的环形绿道空间。在广场与周边出入口交叉位置，打开场地原本封闭的空间视线，拆除旧的花池及破损的路面，让居民更方便的快速进入绿道；将慢步道和骑行道、机动车道有机穿插融合，连通各个休闲活动空间，形成步移景异，舒适宜人的健身绿道。

The national fitness greenway ring has a total length of 2.5 kilometers. It combines the existing space of different sections of the square and adapts to local conditions to form a diverse and interesting circular greenway space. At the intersection of the square and surrounding entrances and exits, the originally closed space of the site is opened up, and old flower ponds and damaged pavements are removed to allow residents to quickly access the greenway more conveniently; jogging trails, cycling paths, and motor vehicle lanes are organically interspersed and integrated to connect various areas. 健身广场区 Fitness Plaza Area

健身广场原先是一片空地，经常被作为临时停车场及其他临时活动场地使用，缺乏休憩设施，地面破损严重，通过重新铺设彩色透水混凝土地面，利用现状平台空间增加“I love xianning”标识休闲座椅，并在健身器材区域增加塑胶铺装，提升居民运动的安全舒适度。

The fitness square was originally an open space, often used as a temporary parking lot and other temporary activity venues. It lacked recreational facilities and the ground was seriously damaged. By re-laying the colored permeable concrete floor, the existing platform space was used to add leisure seats with the “I love xianning” logo. , and add plastic paving in the fitness equipment area to improve the safety and comfort of residents’ exercise.

云朵乐园 Yunduo Paradise

云朵乐园是专门为儿童群体打造的游乐空间，在密林区中我们专门挑选了树木比较稀疏的场地，结合原有健身器材空间，尽量少破坏原有绿化植被，增加了儿童最喜爱的云蹦蹦床及小滑板池的游乐设施，并设置了云朵景亭和休憩座椅供家长休憩。建成后这里成为了周边居民亲子游玩的必到打卡点，每天傍晚这里都充满了欢声笑语。

Yunduo Paradise is a play space specially created for children. In the dense forest area, we specially selected a site with relatively sparse trees, combined it with the original fitness equipment space, tried to minimize the damage to the original green vegetation, and added children’s favorite cloud trampoline. There are also recreational facilities in the small skateboard pool, and a cloud pavilion and rest seats are set up for parents to rest. After its completion, it has become a must-visit check-in spot for surrounding residents to visit with their children. Every evening the place is filled with laughter and laughter.

无动力旱溪乐园 Unpowered Dry Creek Paradise

无动力旱溪乐园，我们利用原有的旱溪场地，改造水循环系统，让小溪的水重新流动起来，在开敞小溪段增设了多个无动力游乐设施，无动力设备让孩子减少对成品及电动设备的依赖，让儿童在游乐中体验自然，在探索中激发创造力、想象力和合作能力。

In the Unpowered Dry Creek Park, we used the original Dry Creek site to transform the water circulation system to allow the water in the creek to flow again. We added multiple unpowered amusement facilities in the open creek section. The unpowered equipment allows children to reduce their exposure to The reliance on finished products and electric equipment allows children to experience nature during play and stimulate creativity, imagination and cooperation skills during exploration.

沙坑乐园及林下轮滑道区 Sandpit Paradise and Forest Roller Skate Area

设计利用公园中乔木较为稀疏的空间，为儿童开辟了一处开敞、舒适的沙坑乐园空间，在沙坑乐园周边的林荫树下增加了舒适休憩的座椅设施。旁边的轮滑道是专门为骑小自行车、轮滑鞋、滑板等运动工具设置的游玩空间，我们充分利用林下的空间，布置蜿蜒曲折的轮滑道穿梭其中，尽量保留原有乔木，让儿童在自然的的环境中体验快乐运动。

The design utilizes the space with sparse trees in the park to open up an open and comfortable sandpit paradise space for children, and adds comfortable seating facilities under the shade trees around the sandpit paradise. The roller skating track next to it is a play space specially set up for riding small bicycles, roller skates, skateboards and other sports tools. We make full use of the space under the forest and arrange a winding roller skating track to shuttle through it. We try to retain the original trees and allow children to play. Experience happy sports in a natural environment.

竹林氧吧 Bamboo Forest Oxygen Bar

设计利用原有一片杂乱的竹林，将竹林空间打造成两个舒适的健身活动空间，三五好友可以在这里组织集体活动，自然惬意。竹林里是一片泥泞地，提升标高解决场地排水问题，同时其中一个竹林空间地面采用了生态素土材质并利用桂花形状的金属板造型解决材质分隔缝的问题，也让竹林空间蕴含了咸宁的桂花文化。另一个竹林空间设计了一幅地面水波纹的地面彩绘，在竹子围合形成的天空下，水波纹与竹林树影相映成趣，别有一番静谧氛围。
