The brief of the client of a family of four people was simple- to have a house with as many natural materials as possible. It became experimental in using rough stones for the flooring which normally is not the rule for a urban house, strips of wood stick out of the ceiling, natural stone slabs for the bathrooms. The unplastered roof concrete was hand painted with white scrubs. Unconvention was the idea as this house was taking shape- odd placements of art, lights, moulds add to the eclectic character of this house.
When it began, we had a general idea of how it would take shape. There were no renders drawn for Client's approval. The material and textures shaped as the house progressed.
