SET HOUSE是位于广州东山口的全新展厅。是一个多元化的美学空间，是服装买手店也是软装工作室，亦会不定期举办展览活动。

SET HOUSE is a new showroom of SET Studio located in Dongshankou, Guangzhou. It is a diversified space of aesthetics, it is a buyer shop, an spatial design studio, and a gallery for exhibitions.

我们尊重共性与差异，也融合传统与现代，所以在空间设计里，虽然偏侘寂，但不是只是做旧，也有融入现代的元素。我们认为侘寂并不是一种固定风格，而是一种态度，也就是追溯本源和自我诚实。北欧的侘寂跟日本的侘寂是不同的，但地域只是表象，实际是不同地方人的生活和历史的文化差异，价值观也可能天差地别。但亦同时存在着共性，来源于生活的相似性，只要能够产生共鸣。

We respect commonality and variations,we fusion traditional and modern, SET HOUSE may be thought as in a wabi style, but it is not just a house we renewed to look ‘old’, we integrated modern elements into the design. Wabi-sabi is more than a specific style, but an attitude — the trace of origin and the self-honesty. Nordic and Japanese wabi-sabi is different, region is just the representation, the actual differences is from lifestyle, history, culture and value. But somehow similarities would be found between Nordic and Japanese wabi-sabi, from the similarity of life which resonates people.

在空间里，除了运用复古的墙身和植物手染的面料之外，也有使用外露的金属线管和现代雕塑风格的家具等，融合新与旧之间的差异，找到它们可以共存的可能性。在色调上，使用了低饱和度的莫兰迪色系，以大地色为基调，无论是墙面地板，或者柜体都色调一体化，尽量让空间沉稳下来。我们大量在结构上使用圆角——与西方的直来直往不同，东方这边多以圆滑的处世态度为主，婉转周折，少去菱角，也是一种顾及到他人的表现。我们总有一个保持舒适的区域，这都是可以产生共鸣的文化。

In addition of retro wall painting and hand-dyed fabrics, we also use exposed metal wire tube and modern sculpture furniture — a combination of new and old, and the balance in between giving a possibility for their coexistence. Morandi colour known for its low saturation is used on wall, board and cases mainly in earth tone, in order to bring up a calm atmosphere. Rounded corners could be frequently found in SET HOUSE — being different from the straight forward style of western, the oriental way of life is mildly and indirect,less sharp angle, which indicates an consideration of taking the others into account. SET HOUSE is a comfort zone for the ones who enter and find resonance.

文化是时时刻刻发生着的变化，是什么经历和价值观成就了现在的你，就是文化的影响。我们这一代人，既有留有传统，也在国际化的大环境下有着新的思想和行为，而审美是跟随人的经历而变化的，所以我们一直在探讨这代人真实发生的文化改变，最终寻源自己本心。

Culture, generation aesthecs interlocks together. When the continuous change of culture influence our experience and value, and it makes who we are. This generation maintains the tradition, but forms a new way of thinking and behaving under the globalization — we comprehend the diversity of the aesthetic meanwhile follow our own heart.
