BLOK Design Group utilized materials that were natural, giving guests at the Kojo Restaurant the feeling of walking into a well-curated forest, so the food would be enhanced by the ambiance.
Located in downtown Sarasota, FL, KOJO is a restaurant with an upscale Pan-Asian palette. The inspiration for KOJO came from a sculpture the owners stumbled upon at an art gallery, which is now displayed upon entering the restaurant. Driven aesthetically by the concept, all furniture, fixtures, and finishes were thoughtfully procured. The natural elements such as the exotic Acacia wood imported from Thailand, cherry blossoms, greenery, and white oak, all go into what makes this restaurant so unique. KOJO seats 160 guests, with the options for indoor and outdoor seating.
