EMPREINTES is a four-storey concept store overflowing with handcrafted crystal, porcelain, jewellery, tableware, lighting and furniture – not to mention the café, a bookshop and a basement projection room. “Above all, there are real people behind these creations, and we wanted to show that. We also wanted to adopt retail’s code, that is very new in a craft world. EMPREINTES is not a gallery, is a coolest place where you can buy 1000 unique and limited edition pieces of art, handmade in the workshops of French craftworkers.  At both ends of the scale, Empreintes’ aim is to introduce new contemporary artists and craftspeople, and panels alongside the works provide information on the artist, their process and materials. And it is a concept that appeals equally to design enthusiasts, tourists and professionals.
