An architecture in a landscape or an architecture for a landscape? This is the question that guided the design. It is first of all an architecture in a landscape.
The construction must be sufficiently present to leave no doubt about its function and its modernity, and sufficiently discreet to be at one with the land and to be part of the landscape and the duration.
The implantation is thought in such a way that the building does not distort the qualities of the land. The building is very low. But it is also an architecture for a landscape. The implantation of the different entities, beyond the legibility that it implies and the obvious use that results from it, allows to admire the landscape of the valley of the Marne.
The exterior spaces are landscaped in such a way that they accompany the discovery of the surroundings. Finally this architecture is a landscape. The spaces are articulated around planted patios. Natural light penetrates fully into the interior rooms. So why all this? Simply to live better. An architecture so linked to the landscape is able to create a serene atmosphere, a functional space, in which monotony has no place.
