该项目是对ULURU KATA-TJUTA国家公园的设计与改造。该项目场地距离澳大利亚最受欢迎的地标地区之一----Uluru Kata Tjuta文化中心只有1千米的距离，这里已经成为鉴定土著景观和非土著景观价值的地方。该公园利用交织缠绕的景观模式来带给大家一种流动的线条美感，再加上植被区和沙漠区的设立，整个公园的设施看起来非常完整，这样独特的设计是为了让游客们体验到文化的内部感受和外部感受，以及亲身体验到土著居民的Anangu在设计景观时的状态。

所有景观的设计意图都是努力将对大自然的影响减少到最小，最大化的扩大游客们的体验，让他们感受到沙漠风景的美丽。在公园的构筑物中，设计团队创建了一个小岛屿，在这里，游客们可以在出入构筑物之前在这里小憩一下。公园内的庭院是通过沙漠土墙来勾勒出来的，这样不仅漂亮，而且也对公园内的本土植被起到保护的作用。

Located one kilometre from the base of one of Australia’s most loved icons, the Uluru Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre is an ongoing testimony to the value of joint Aboriginal and non-indigenous management of the landscape. Its intertwining of building with vegetation and desert sand imbues a fluidity symbolic of the give and take of joint management, the inner and outer experience of culture, and the physical experience of landscape by Anangu – the Aboriginal owners.

The intent of all designed landscape elements was to minimise the impact on the landscape while maximising the visitors’ experience of the desert’s subtle beauty. A landscape ‘island’ was created around the building in which visitors have a little time to pause in the desert as they approach and leave the building. Courtyards within the building are delineated with desert earth walls that protect indigenous vegetation.
