The renovation project of the 5th floor of the Campo dei Fiori Mall in Gavirate has been studied by imagining a path that invites the visitor to enter and discover new flavors; the goal is to create a space that welcomes those who want to browse without conveying the strong connotation of “dining area”. Visible from all over the mall, the space is inserted as “the space that was missing” and it encloses new surprises and “new colors” for the taste buds.
Therefore a sinuous and organic layout is born, a circular and unpaved path that obliges the visitor to move his sight and discover point of views and perspectives which represent something new also for frequent customers.
A continuous change of perspective allows the visitor to discover the privileged view of the lake, the new panoramic glass balcony overlooking the hall of the new Multisala Electric, the outdoor area for summer seasons, seats for group up to eight people that can wait there for their order. Various seating and table arrangements offer the solution for every occasion, ideal for the single and in a hurry customer as well as for groups of friends gathered for the evening.
The dining areas, which enliven the space and serve a wide variety of dishes, blend together through the iconic oak boiserie surmounted by an artican white Corian plan, which connects the entire space. Each format retains its own image and its characteristic features from the bottom to the ceiling, the singularities of each one allow the customers to orient themselves in a unique homely and well-groomed place, not within a classic old-fashioned food court.
The two main common areas, elevated and distinct from the central transit flow, act as indoor squares rich in marble tables, worked iron legs, majolica benches, large green islands and mossy walls that create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages the visitor to stay as one could do in a green park overlooking the lake.
