Nowadays, more and more people like the MCM style, which refers to Mid-Century Modern, also known asmedieval style. The overall style presents a minimalist, high-end and comfortable home atmosphere that is biased towards the Nordic style.

△平面布置图/关于改造：1.把一个空间改为书房，砸掉原本的墙体，做了玻璃隔断，增加了采光使空间显得更大；2.主卧打掉了原本户型床头和衣帽间的高墙，变为矮墙隔断，让空间更通透；3.主卫的尺寸做了微调，使其更加宽敞、不闭塞。

About the transformation:1. Convert a space into a study room, knock down any wall, make glass partitions, and add lighting to make the space wider；

2. In the master bedroom, the high walls of the original bedside and dressing room were removed and replaced with low wall partitions to make the space more transparent;

3. The size of the main bathroom has been slightly adjusted to make it more spacious and not blocked.

业主是一对审美很好的小两口，在前期沟通的时候，他们并没有给我们特别明确的风格走向，只提供了喜欢的设计元素，比如：重色的地板、黑色的皮革以及金属质感，我们从这些元素中，延展设计出这套简洁、美学与实用主义兼具的年轻中古风的家。

Designers of this set are a young couple with good aesthetics, and the medieval style is a style they appreciate and love. During the early communication, they did not give us a particularly clear style direction. They only provided us with favorite design elements, such as: heavy-colored floors, black leather, and metallic brightness. From these elements, we extended the design to a simple set of , a young mid-century style home that combines aesthetics and pragmatism.

Entrance

我们将换鞋凳、鞋柜、挂衣、全身镜集于一个体块之内，使得墙面更整洁和完整。

We integrated the shoe-changing bench, shoe cabinet, clothes hanging, and full-length mirror into one block, making the wall tidier and more complete.

Dining Room

书房的隔断，我们采用了钢构 + 艺术玻璃的形式，有隔有透，增加空间趣味性以及通透性。

For the partition of the study room, we adopt the form of steel structure + art glass, which is divided and transparent to increase the interest and permeability of the space.

底座砌筑了复古砖，虚实之间营造出通透感，橄榄绿更为空间注入清新的光泽。

The base of the partition is built with retro bricks, creates a sense of transparency between the virtual and the solid. The olive green injects fresh luster into the space.

Kitchen

Living Room

电视墙和沙发墙做了两面墙的留白，我们认为家和居住者应该是共同成长的关系，不应该把空间全部做满，而是让屋主住进去之后，慢慢地用自己喜爱的事物填满空间，那样才会更像自己的空间。

The TV wall and the sofa wall are left blank. We believe that the home and its residents should have a growing relationship together. They should not fill up the entire space, but allow the homeowners to slowly use their favorite features after living in them. Fill the space with things, so that it becomes more like your own space.

软装搭配上采用了现代感的金属灯具，引入了大胆的配色，给予人视觉上色彩的冲击力，呈现出氛围统一、延续的质感空间。

The soft furnishings are matched with modern metal lamps and bold colors are introduced to give people a visual impact of color and present a textured space with a unified and continuous medieval atmosphere.

Reading Room

Bedroom

作为主要的休憩空间，打掉原有床头的高墙后，整个空间融为一体，卧室更为柔暖宁静却又不失活泼，前后两排衣柜，收纳空间充足，整齐简约。

As the main resting space, after the original high wall at the head of the bed was removed, the entire space was integrated into one, making the bedroom softer, warmer, quieter, and yet lively. There are two rows of wardrobes in the front and back, with ample storage space, neat and simple.

定制桌形状顺势而为做了夹角设计，满足日常办公与梳妆需求，相信一定会带给居者满满的生活幸福感。

The shape of the customized table was adapted to make an angle table to meet the daily office and dressing needs. I believe it will definitely bring the residents a full sense of happiness in life.

主卫墙体改造成透光不透影的玻璃方砖，增强卫生间的自然光引入，使其不完全闭塞。

The main bathroom wall was transformed into light-transmitting and opaque glass tiles to enhance the introduction of natural light into the bathroom and prevent it from being completely blocked.
