Metamorphosis of a metal goods factory
The main premise of the refurbishment was to preserve the original character of the ensemble. The remaining factory buildings were restored and supplemented with a new multi-storey building which stands out clearly from the historic buildings with its glass façade.
The architects were particularly impressed by the possibility of faithfully reconstructing the historic pivoting sashes. Another factor in favour of Jansen's steel systems were the many services that Jansen offers beyond the product itself. These include the integration of accessories, processing equipment, system testing, documentation, programmes for calculations and material as well as technical advice and training.
