Pengzhou Longmen Mountain Seven Village has been a popular choice for tourism in the suburbs of Chengdu, thousands of years "Jincheng Kiln", "Colorful World", "Doing nothing" and so on are the seven village famous scenery. The project site is located on a high ground where is able to overlook the panorama of Seven Village and the endless mountains and eye-catching snow peaks in the background, and the beauty of sunrise and sunset with cloud sea attracts tourists to give a shoot. Flowers, wine and the scenery scenery reminds most of Chinese people of the poetic scene Bai Juyi wrote, night listen to strike drunk sleep, if not under the moon that is before the flower. Jincheng Kiln is famous for producing white porcelain, whose color and texture are similar to the shape and spirit of the bright moon. Exploring the beautiful sky scenery is the core function of the viewing platform hanging on the top of the mountain. The mood of "In front of the flowers and under the moon" has become the overall architectural image of the project.

The observation’s deck entrance is connected to the road by a 95-meter-long aerial walkway. The main body of the viewing platform is supported by the concrete cylinder in the center, and a 30-meter diameter "C" -shaped ring is hung on the top of the cylinder. The interior space of the viewing platform is equipped with a multi-function hall integrating coffee, tea, bar and dessert. The usable area is about 130 square meters and it can provide 86 indoor seats. The exterior space of the ring is a panoramic viewing corridor with a gradual change of width within 3-6 meters. The wide part can provide 52 outdoor seats. The maximum capacity of the viewing platform is 450 people. The elevator is hidden inside the central cylinder structure to solve the needs of food transportation and emergency rescue of the multi-function hall. The spiral viewing staircase provides guests with an interesting, artistic and convenient vertical traffic space. The associated functions of toilet, kitchen, storage and equipment room are hidden underground in the form of earth covering, integrating with the mountain.

The viewing platform is composed of steel truss, steel cable and concrete cylinder, which is also an attempt and challenge of the firm. The white ceramic aluminum plates form the image of "bright moon", which is also our interpretation of the white porcelain in the local Jincheng kiln.

With the ring of porcelain embryo, the shape of building came to birth; with the appearance of porcelain, the white dresses the architecture. The ring of porcelain is transforming in the burned kiln fire and finally becoming a permanent moon sitting on the top of the mountain, and its light shines above the land of Seven Village forever.
