Villa Vaiana, immersed in ancient olive trees, bathed in water, clean lines, comes from the nature of Versilia, a step away from the famous VIP holiday town of Forte dei Marmi.
"Light is a fundamental part of every project, and those who love light and love design love Karman," say Michele Vitaloni and Nicola Silicani of Charmitaliastudio, an architecture firm specialising in interior and exterior design, restyling and lighting design.
The swimming pool of Villa Vaiana is embraced by Don't Touch by Karman, a unique lamp that, caressed by the wind, moves its wings. A primordial shape, a white bowl where arrange freely lighting sticks as inebriating incenses or a fluctuating pick-up-sticks that attract our desire of light, together with an irresistible desire of touching it lightly.
Linear, clean and decorative: during the day or at night the desire is always to touch it… But…Don’t Touch: a limit we set upon ourselves, a meditation break, letting the nature take its course, looking the magic, without intervening with our violence. Don’t Touch is a request, a warning, in a time where, everything we touch, we destroy irremediably.
