This project is aiming to address two major issues of current China rural community: preserve the collective lifestyle for a large elderly population and keep a minimal budget for improvement. The cluster house grouping creates various village cores to give possibilities for neighborhood bonding; individual courtyard serves as private space for veggie garden, storage and sun-cure habit; housing style refined from traditional Northern Jiangsu Architecture and simplified to meet the budget.

This practice is dedicated to improving the rural residents’ well-being and new rural community’s outlook.

该项目旨在解决当前中国农村社区的两个主要问题：为大量老年人保留集体生活方式和保持最低预算进行改善。集群房屋分组创造了各种村庄核心，为邻里联结提供了可能性；独立的庭院作为蔬菜园、储藏室和防晒习惯的私人空间；住宅风格从传统的苏北建筑中提炼出来，并简化以满足预算。

这种做法致力于提高农村居民的福祉和新农村社区的面貌。
