Holland Basham Architects designed the unique and functional Digital Express at Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska.
The digital express area is a unique space that isn’t commonly found. Having this space open to the public allows them access to services they might not always have access to. The variety of spaces (available study, conference rooms, huddle rooms, creative zone, active and focus computer areas, a learning center, family rooms, heads down location, and classroom) provides everyone a space to focus or meet with a group.
North Omaha needed a space where people could come together, learn and interact with technology in ways not possible. An area that serves everyone in the community, offering access and personal support for students and families to connect and learn, and a safe place for students and families to get online.
