From the outside, this villa in the Italian region of Umbria is indistinguishable from traditional local buildings: a centuries-old stone facade, a cozy porch, a tiled roof, olive trees around. But the interiors were updated several years ago, and here the designers presented a colorful modern version of historical housing design. A bright yellow sofa, blue cabinetry, a green kitchen and a whole collection of colorful and sometimes provocative contemporary art – chances are you didn’t expect to see decor like this in such an old house. To be fair, the ceiling beams and stone flooring make the transition from old to modern smoother and more harmonious. By the way, the house can berented for holidays, prices start from 3,500 euros per week of stay.See also:Juicy colors in design of Milan apartment
