“Your trash, my diamond!”
We’ve opened up a secondhand clothes shop named ‘Trash & Diamond’, and rented out
a simple shop space.
Since its a recycled clothing store, the interior design should also be using recycled
materials, according to our original thoughts for store design.
We collected empty bottles from home, friends, streets, bars and everywhere, normally
people won’t even take a glance at it, but today we need to collect hundreds of them.
after some effort we collected over 300 bottles, and more then 20 kinds.
We found some wire and made a ring out of it.
Twisted it with clamp.
Circle it around the bottle neck and tighten up.
Twist it a few times with clamp, then put the end of the wire into the circle and pull up,
there one of the chandelier piece is done.
We fixed the bottles onto a pole and installed them into the ceiling hanging overhead.
Some of the bottles were made into lamps, installed with LED light bulbs.
Meanwhile, we collected a large amount of cardboard, press them flat, then clue them
together layer by layer until it became a compressed cardboard cube.
At the end put on a piece of glass, a display table is finished.
Together with some other basic functions, ‘Trash & Diamond’ is ready to open.
