On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of its foundation, Edilpiù the leading Italian brand in the sector of high quality doors and windows and a pioneer in the integration of new technologies – presents Openings, a dedicated cultural and artistic project exploring one of the company’s closest themes: the concept of threshold, of openness and of the relationship between inside and outside.

此次活动不仅是对过去40年成功历史的庆祝，更重要的是，追寻通往未来的道路。突如其来的疫情改变了人们以往的生活环境，重新定义了人们生活与共享的界限。Edilpiù希望通过运用象征性的建筑语言来表达出呼吸、关系和对话的概念，从而引发人们的思考。

Openings does not strive to be only the celebration of the past, but above all, to trace the path to the future. During a time when an unexpected pandemic has changed ordinary life environments, and redefined the boundaries of living and sharing, Edilpiù wants to symbolize breath, relationship and dialogue through the expressive language of architecture.

“我们希望一种非自我主义的角度来举办此次活动，以更加广阔与长远的态度影响观众，甚至整个行业，使OPENINGS产生意识与故事性。通过这种方式将故事、文献、艺术和建筑结合在一起，展现出我们将传统、土地、创新融合的历史创业之路。”Edilpiù的高层管理人之一Marcello Bacchini说道，其余两位分别为创始人Gian Paolo Bacchini以及Antonio Bacchini。

Edilpiù座落于历史悠久的central Lugo (Ravenna)。2021年6月17日，在Rocca (埃斯特堡垒)脚下的花园中，一件前所未有的艺术装置“Lunette”凭空出世。这件艺术装置由现居巴塞罗那的意大利建筑师/插画家Federico Babina创作，旨在探索“窗户”的意义，展现出对建筑以及其他建筑构成元素的更广泛的思考。各式各样的窗户以铰接的方式组成一栋小房子，“窗户是建筑的眼睛”，艺术家Federico Babina用这种方式邀请人们进入装置之中，以不同的视角看待生活，就如同在城市中漫步时窥视别人家的场景。“Lunette”引发了人们对窗户的重新思考，在这里，窗户变身成画框界定并强调出周围的景观与正在发生的故事。

In the historic setting of central Lugo (Ravenna), the city where Edilpiù is based, and specifically in the garden at the foot of the Rocca (Este bastion fortress), on June 17th, 2021, Lunette will be inaugurated – an unprecedented installation created by Barcelona-based Italian architect and illustrator Federico Babina, who explores the concept of the window, starting from a broader reflection on architecture and the elements that compose it. “Windows are the eyes of architecture” is how Babina invites us, through the articulated openings of Lunette, to look at living with a different perspective and to browse the installation as if we were walking through a city, peeking at domestic interiors, to rethink the window as a frame capable of delimiting and emphasizing the stories and landscapes that surround it.

当日晚，由Francesca Molteni与Mattia Colombo直导、Edilpiù出品的OPENINGS同名记录片《Openings：Looks beyond the limit》如期上映。影片中，镜头沿着世界上最美的道路之一 —— Via Emilia记录了一段美妙的旅程，悠长的公路夹在两道长长的海岸之间，宛如一道门槛，成就了一部赞美诗般的电影，充满了沉静与反思，引发人们去探索对不起眼的小空间，例如门槛背后的无限可能性。这部纪录片的主角包括著名意大利建筑师Alvaro Siza、Cino Zucchi，以及Alfonso Femia，摄影师Guido Guidi，运动员Andrea Stella、Davide Cassani，意大利非政府组织‟急诊(Emergency)”理事Rossella Miccio，以及罗马尼大区代表性人物Raoul Casadei。

On the same evening, “Openings. Looks beyond the limit”, the documentary film by directors Francesca Molteni and Mattia Colombo and produced by Edilpiù. A journey along the Via Emilia, one of the most beautiful roads in the world and a very long threshold between two shores of the same region, to become a choral film, filled with reflections and contemplations, which give the viewer the hints to recognize the infinite possibilities hidden behind such a small portion of space as the threshold. Protagonists of the docu-film include Italian and international architects from Alvaro Siza to Cino Zucchi, as well as Alfonso Femia, the photographer Guido Guidi, the sportsmen Andrea Stella and Davide Cassani, the president of Emergency, Rossella Miccio, and a figure of reference for the Romagna region, Raoul Casadei.

除了《Lunette》与《Openings. Looks beyond the limit》外，Edilpiù还推出了一本全新杂志，杂志中收集了一系列“不断超越自我，追求更好”的人与故事，他们在不断地自我质疑与自我超越中拓展丰富了自己的职业生涯，他们的行业涉及建筑、摄影、插画等众多艺术门类，同时他们的作品也组成了Edilpiù四十年历史的一部分。

In addition to the two artistic interventions Lunette and “Openings. Looks beyond the limit”, Edilpiù presents a new editorial project, a magazine – which compiles stories of people in constant search of “doing better”, who have crossed many thresholds, overcome obstacles, questioned themselves, branching out and enriching their professional careers to create architecture, photography and illustration projects that are also part of the forty-year history of Edilpiù.

此外，2021年7月19日，在历史悠久的Pavaglione di Lugo的周例集市内，这部由Francesca Molteni与Mattia Colombo直导的记录片将会成为拉文纳节（Ravenna Festival）团结晚会的主角，部分OPENINGS活动主角将会亲临现场，首映会将由Giorgio Tartaro主持，旨在与人们共同探讨建筑、音乐、体育、艺术以及地方领域里的“门槛”概念。

Furthermore, within the space once dedicated to the weekly market in the historic Pavaglione di Lugo, on 19 July, 2021 the docu-film by Francesca Molteni and Mattia Colombo will be the protagonist of a Ravenna Festival evening dedicated to solidarity. The screening will open with the participation of some of the protagonists of the Openings project, in a presentation moderated by Giorgio Tartaro that will fully investigate the theme of the threshold embracing architecture, music, sport, art and territory.
