Cache atelier were engaged by information technology company, Financial Times, to design their offices located in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The new Financial Times office space spreading across three floors in Bulgaria is located in the most prestigious area of the capital Sofia. When the architects from Cache atelier were commissioned to design the new creative space of FT they decided to create a young spirit space but keeping a calm and light environment in pastel tonality.
The agile working process of FT predisposed the large variety of collaboration points in the office space – starting from a large open events area at the entrance and continuing through a variety of open meeting areas flowing into the break and relaxation zones create a fluid working environment where the boundaries are not strictly set.
The main form factor in the creation of the concept is the archetype of the flow of information and its subsidiary parts in the analogue and digital environment. Cache atelier appointed to the certain hierarchy of presenting information and reflected it in form producing pattern of squares that are used in the creation of the floorings raster and graphics in the office space.
